Weekend xtvt... family outings and leisure enjoyment @ luak esplanade. Bersantai bersama family tersayang adalah saat yang amat membahagiakan.

* The esplanade has a long stretch of beach facing the South China Sea. Sesuai sangat kalau nak joging di sini.

*The sandy beach is white and clean..

* My little princess Saleisha Qeisha sedang seronok berlari-lari.

* My little family...qeisha manja sangat ngan nenek.

*Best time to visit luak esplanade are during the weekends, Saturday & Sundays, as usually there are food stalls set up along the stretch with a variety of local delights,bbq, snacks and drinks to try.

* Its a great place for family outings and leisure enjoyment.

*People gather here to enjoy the ocean scenery, face the ocean breeze, have picnics in the afternoons - and in the evenings people participate in car audio and various lively activities during the weekend.:)
*Next time nak berkhemah pula kat sini. Tunggu waktu cuti sekolah, ramai2 with family kakak ipar.

majlis perpisahan dengan penyelia petang SKRB2

Hi everyone...
Beberapa hari dah tak update & bw. Minggu ini agak bz..Wednesday seharian di sekolah coz ada aktiviti kokurikulum, semalam after class mesyuarat AJK kurikulum pula. Sebelah malamnya sambung dengan dinner perpisahan dengan penyelia sesi petang sekolah kami pula. Bila sampai di rumah waktu petang, memang terasa letih sangat.Nak on9 pun tak larat, baru kejap nak on9 mata dah mengantuk. Rasa nak berehat saja & tidur awal. Ya la..keesokan paginya kena pula bangun awal dalam kul 5am. So, hujung minggu ini nak berehat & lepak2 saja di rumah. Ok lupakan saja keluhan itu..layan saja pic2 captured with my phone masa majlis perpisahan dengan penyelia petang sekolah kami semalam. Sebenarnya tak berapa semangat nak posing, coz takde bawa camera. My charger canon belum ketemu lagi..dah order dah ori charger tu then kena tunggu 1 month.aduiii..takpe lah...frust tau.

entrance....tak suka sebenarnya dengan nama riam batu dua..u all faham tak?..ye la batu dua.hehe.Apa nak buat dah memang nama sekolah tu semenjak 49 tahun.haaa lama kan.

Sekarang ni, sedang menunggu surat tawaran dari institusi yang menawarkan.Thanks God. Program ini khas untuk guru2 lepasan diploma perguruan yang sedang berkhidmat. Mengikut jadual, kami akan mendaftar pada 13 Mac nanti. Harap semuanya berjalan dengan lancar...that's all, nak bw & buat singgahbalas pula. ..babaii

10 dirty fruits and veggies.

Are the fruits and vegetables you buy clean enough to eat?

The Environmental Working Group (EWG) studied 100,000 produce pesticide reports from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to create a list of 49 of the dirtiest and cleanest produce.

So before you hit the grocery store, see how some of your favorite fruits and veggies measured up.
Did one of your favorites make the list? Don't worry, the EWG recommends purchasing organic or locally grown varieties, which can lower pesticide intake by 80% versus conventionally grown produce.

Celery
This stalky vegetable tops the dirty list. Research showed that a single celery stalk had 13 pesticides, while, on the whole, celery contained as many as 67 pesticides.
Chemicals fester on this vegetable as it has no protective skin and its stems cup inward, making it difficult to wash the entire surface of the stalk. It’s not easy to find locally grown celery, so if you like this crunchy veggie, go organic.

Peaches
Peaches are laced with 67 different chemicals, placing it second on the list of most contaminated fruits and vegetables. They have soft fuzzy skin, a delicate structure, and high susceptibility to most pests, causing them to sprayed more frequently.

Strawberries
This red, juicy fruit has a soft, seedy skin, allowing easier absorption of pesticides. Research showed that strawberries contained 53 pesticides. Try to buy strawberries at a local farmer’s market for a sweet dessert.

Apples
Apples are high-maintenance fruit, needing many pesticides to stave off mold, pests, and diseases. The EWG found 47 different kinds of pesticides on apples, and while produce washes can help remove some of the residue, they’re not 100% effective.

Blueberries (domestic)
These antioxidant-rich berries have a thin layer of skin that allows chemicals to more easily contaminate the fruit. Domestic blueberries were loaded with 13 pesticides on a single sample, according to the EWG. Imported blueberries also made the list at No. 14 for the dirtiest produce.

Sweet bell pepper
This crunchy, yet thin-skinned, vegetable is highly susceptible to pesticides. According to the EWG, sweet bell peppers showed traces of 63 types of pesticides. While some pesticides can be washed away, many still remain.

Spinach, kale, collard greens
These leafy green vegetables are on the list, with spinach loaded with 45 different kinds of pesticides and kale 57.
In 2006, Dole recalled bagged baby spinach after multiple E. coli illnesses associated with the vegetable made their way across the country.

Grapes (imported)
These tiny fruit have extremely thin skins, allowing for easy absorption of pesticides. And think twice before buying imported wine. The grapes that go into the wine could be coming from vineyards that use too many pesticides.

Potatoes
Have you ever indulged in a potato skin at your favorite restaurant? You might want to think twice before eating the skin. This spud was highly laced with pesticides—36, according to the EWG—that are needed to prevent pests and diseases.

Cherries
Cherries, like blueberries, strawberries, and peaches, have a thin coating of skin—often not enough to protect the fruit from harmful pesticides.
Research showed cherries grown in the U.S. had three times the amount of pesticides as imported cherries. Because cherries contain ellagic acid, an antioxidant that neutralizes carcinogens, it’s worthwhile to buy organic or seek imported ones

*Pandai pilih keta masa nak keluar rumah, tak nak mumy car..nak big car dady juga.Pandai2 kata mumy car rosak.Masa keta dady tak ada depan mata, takde pula kata macam tu.elehh shane...mengada-ngada betul

* still tak berapa suka makan nasi. Lebih berselera with toast bread, bun & potato. alahai..

*Suka sangat coklat, aiskrim & segala yang manis. Selagi tak habis, selagi tu la dia minta.

*Cepat mesra dan tak takut dengan orang, specially yang sebaya dengannya.

*Tak berapa suka berkongsi toys dengan orang lain. Berkira betul tau.

*Masih bertutur dengan 3 bahasa rojaknya.Mulut pun becok macam murai

*Tidak menggunakan diapers lagi, dah pandai pergi toilet..tapi kena awasi juga. Tidur malam pun dah tak pakai pampers lagi. Namun begitu, sekiranya dia tidur awal saya akan bangunkan dia buang air kecil dalam pukul 12am & selepas bersiap nak turun kerja dalam pukul 5am,juga saya bangunkan untuk buang air kecil..then dia sambung tidur balik.Untung dia tak nangis :)

*Dah pandai menulis dengan bantuan garis2 putus menggunakan pensel, mewarna gambar dengan colour pencils.Minat xtvt colouring, tapi malas nak kemas barang2 dia sendiri.hmmm..

*selalu minta perhatian lebih daripada adiknya & suka menyakat adik

Hot Plate Noodles & butter prawn with rice

Hot Plate Noodles ...our dinner last night. Looks very tasty & it's very yummy. :)

butter prawn with rice...butter prawns are our absolute favourite and is a sure order at  any seafood restaurant we go to.:).

*no idea sebenarnya saya nak update blog.2 hari dah takde post, jenguk2 saja adalah. Hari ini seharian di sekolah coz ada perjumpaan gerko.Terasa letih sangat...macam ni rasanya kerja office hour ya. Selalunya half day saja kerja. Tapi tahun nie dah bertukar jadual, every Wednesday ada perjumpaan gerko. Maknanya every wednesday la seharian di sekolah.huhuu..So, nak update blog pun tak tau nak buat entry apa tadi..then cari pic2 yg ada dlm phone..jumpalah 2 pic di atas.Dinner kat luar semalam. Nanti pula ada si teman kata saya ni dah macam sarina rizuan pulak.Takpe lah..juz nak share ngan kawan2 baik ya.ok, nak melawat rakan2 pula before logout...:)

Entry tentang Shane dan qeisha @ mcd. Pilih meja sendiri, tecik je meja yang shane pilih.So, nenek(mymum), shane dan qeisha duduk 1 meja tu. Dady & mumy macam pasangan kekasih pulak duduk berdua 1 meja bersebelahan dengan meja yang shane pilih. Nak tau kenapa shane pilih area tu? Sebabnya dekat dengan 'playland' kat mcd tu.Bijak ya..tau2 la budak kecik,kena turutkan juga.Kalau tidak, sure merajuk anak bujang tu.

Si nenek tengah sibuk melayan karenah dua cucu kesayangannya. Memang manja sangat dengan nenek, berebut-rebut minta perhatian...qeisha makin petah bercakap, macam2 yang dia tanya dengan si nenek.

Layan 'apple pie'(favourite shane)..., frens fries with hot milo.

* Motif utama bukan nak makan sebenarnya 2 orang nie, main kat 'playland' tu yang utama.

* Dah pandai ajak pergi mcd..aduhai mana la mampu nak pergi sini selalu. Takkan datang sini semata-mata nak main kat playland tu. Ada nanti kena jeling oleh waitress2 kat situ.Nasib baik dekat..saya pun suka tengok modern design mcd nie.Baru dibuka hujung tahun lepas bersebelahan dengan 'shell'.Saya tengok majoriti yang datang situ bukan isi minyak tapi serbu mcd....

Cuaca hujan je sepanjang 2 hari nie. Outdoor xtvt memang tak dapat jalan la.Mungkin rahmat cny kot. Singa pun tak dapat menari, ye la mereka  kan selalunya naik lori kalau nak buat tarian singa dari rumah ke rumah. 2 hari dah hujan sepanjang hari. Ngabang cny pun kat jiran depan rumah je.Cuti pun tinggal esok lagi.

Sambil2 on9 & bw..layan lipton tea panas2..memang sesuai sangat

dan kawannya ialah...

kuih gunting yang dibeli kat Mukah hari tu.Sangat ranggup dan sedap. Ini memang favourite saya.Kalau nak buat sendiri pun senang saja.Ada bermacam jenis kuih gunting. Saya suka jenis yang macam pic di atas kerana tidak berminyak.Bahan-bahannya sangat simple. Boleh rujuk kat pakar di www.myresipi.com.

Blowing Bubbles....

Indoors or outdoors bubbles can be lots of fun to play with. They can be little bubbles or huge gigantic bubbles, but they all do the same thing....they float softly in the air until something magically pops them!

A trip to Mukah

Hai all...3 hari dah saya tak o9 & bw.Sebabnya...
29/01/11 hari tu pergi ke Mukah konvoi with kakak ipar family. Saja je..nak pergi jalan2, sambil2 melawat dan ambik adik ipar yang sekolah kat politeknik mukah balik bercuti CNY.My husband 1st time pergi mukah, saya pula kali kedua.Last saya pergi tahun 2005 kursus kepimpinan pandu puteri.After 5 years...banyak sangat perubahan,mukah kini telah bertukar wajah. Terkejut saya melihat mukah kini dah ada kingwood resort.That's mean in future, mukah akan menjadi sebuah bandaraya..

Singah lunch @ Bintulu..

*Shane saja yang ikut pergi pergi mukah. Qeisha tinggal with my mum.Mulanya semua nak ikut..memandangkan adik ipar takut tinggal seorang kat rumah, mak saya tak jadi ikut. Qeisha mak tak bagi ikut sama coz dia ingat jalan masuk simpang mukah still under construction....tapi sebenarnya 80% dah nak siap.Tak teruk sangat.

*Shane very enjoyed & sangat manja with his aunty. My FIL & MIL pun ikut sama...

Stayed at kingwood hotel.Premier Room Double with Breakfast-weekday RM 185.00 nett.

* Shane suka sangat..saya suka bathroomnya yang cantik & modern design..

*Sebelum tido, call qeisha, lucu sangat dengar shane &qeisha berbual kat telefon..

What's so special about Mukah?...

1. Fresh & cheap seafood

-Saya beli udang & sotong simpan dalam 'cool box'..sampai kat miri still fresh lagi.Rasanya lebih sedap berbanding udang & sotong di miri.

2. umai

-Just so you know, Umai is thinly sliced raw fish marinated with ‘assam paya’, a very sour fruit of a wild palm, onions, chillies, and a pinch of salt. Umai has now transcended its traditional confines to become a truly Sarawakian dish. Definitely an A+ for those who have taste buds that favour sour-ish delicacies and it's a must try too if you're in Sarawak!
